Welcome to the DIFK Tamil School.
***Our Motto is to teach our kids their mother tongue***
We are a team of 2 teachers and 1 coordinator. There are 11 children altogether split into two groups, one group is above the age of 6 with 7 children and the other group is below 6 years with 4 children. The above 6 years group kids are now well versed in alphabets such that they can read and write Alphabets.
Currently, we are focusing on reading words along with framing sentences. We also at times focus on teaching the kids Tamil literature poems such as Thirukural, Naladiyar and kids recite them for any DIFK cultural events such as Diwali, Tamil New year. The focus for below 6 years group is mainly on oral Tamil communication by teaching them rhymes and also slowly inculcating the interest in Tamil alphabets.

Reka Mughillain
Teacher (Tamil Academy)
I am Reka Mughillain, native of Pondicherry. A Happy Homemaker with two children. With my husband's job transfer, we are in Germany since 2017.
My passion for teaching and also a sense of social responsibility made me join this group. I use this platform as a golden opportunity to pass Tamil language to the next generation. My professional training and previous teaching experience in Bangalore helped a lot in handling the kids. At the end of the day, I get a sense of satisfaction doing this.
Suganthi
Teacher (Tamil Academy)
My name is Suganthi. Hailing from the temple town of Palani,Tamilnadu, I have grown up with a rich Tamil culture and tradition. My passion to teach Tamil comes from the love towards my mother tongue and the drive to act as a bridge to take the language forward to the younger generation.
This gives me an opportunity to pass the cultural heritage, linguistic richness in Tamil and enable the kids to stay connected and strengthen their bond with our motherland.
